the KNKT recommends the DGCA to review the manual inspection process for ensuring that the inspection of the operation manuals is able to identify the absence of procedure to use of TAWS and the response to audio and/or visual warnings.

DGCA would revise the Staff Instruction (SI) 8900-3.324 which contain procedure to conduct inspection and approval of operation manual, and its related inspection form to ensure that the procedure to use the TAWS and the response to audio and/or visual warning is described in operator operation manual.DGCA revised the training material in the Inspector Training System (ITS) related to the operation manual inspection process. The revised training material highlighted requirement for inspector to ensure operator operation manual describes procedure to use of TAWS and the response to audio and/or visual warnings.
