KNKT investigation identified that the aircraft was landing with insufficient pitch attitude relative to the steep runway slope. This condition resulting in a nose-low attitude at the moment of touchdown, likely led to the failure of the nose gear and subsequent runway excursion. The investigation did not find any guidancematerials related to upslope landing technique. The absence of guidance materials may contributed to the improper handling. Therefore, KNKT recommends Dimonim Air ensure that the pilots are familiar with visual illusion during landing approach to improve situational awareness and ensure safer operations into remote and terrain-challenged locations.
