Particular attention to the training given to the pilot for visual flight operations in mountainous and unpredictable weather conditions, included intensive route and aerodrome familiarization in locations, and over routes, where aids such as TAWS7, GPS8, and Radio Altimeter9 are not effective nor practical nor available.
