The pilot was unaware of the movement of the animals when landing on the runway until the aircraft hit the boar. The presence of animals, or other foreign objects on the runway, is a hazard for taking off and landing the aircraft.Therefore, KNKT recommends the operator, Yayasan Pelayanan Penerbangan Tariku, to ensure wildlife hazards are well controlled by the local villagers at the airstrip.
