The National Transportation Safety Committee recommends, Refer to Honeywell Aircraft Landing System (ALS) CMM page 518, Attachment Hardware Inspection, the PT. Merpati Nusantara Airline should: • Operator should adopt a life-limit replacement plan for the wheel hub machine bolts to the life limit at 8,000 landings. • Cadmium plating should be restored on the machine bolt after 10 nut installations.
