Concerning to the loss of airspeed indicator of this accident flight, KNKT recommends DGCA to provide a regulation which requires pilot to be trained for flight with unreliable airspeed.

In 2018, the DGCA issued safety circular number SE 012 TAHUN 2018 with subject of Unreliable Airspeed Indications. The circular recommends training program for unreliable airspeed event to be included in the ab initio, initial and recurrent training. The circular also highlighted useful information to identify the unreliable airspeed.
